Hello Everyone,
The other day, out of the blue, I thought about the game I played as a child called, Ring Around the Rosie. Now when these thoughts come in unexpectedly, most of the time I have come to realize that God wants to talk to me about something. In this case, I was correct.
I sensed that He wanted me to take a lesson from children. In this game, they fall. But when they fall, they just laugh, get back up and in the game again. He was teaching me that there will always be moments when we fall – when we don’t handle things in the right way, say the right thing, or think the right thought. However, when we fall, say you’re sorry and get back up in the game of life. Don’t stay down just because we’ve fallen. Take a lesson from the children – they laugh at themselves and get right back up.
Laugh at the enemy who would try to keep you down. Rejoice again. Rejoice that you don’t have to stay down. Rejoice – not in what you’ve done, but what the Lord has done! Have fun again. The joy of the Lord is your strength. Don’t let discouragement keep you down. Get back up and play again, laugh again.
I should think that having joy is a great way to overcome what the enemy tries to throw at us. So, how about a game of Ring Around the Rosie?
Have a joyful day in the Lord!
Blessings, Evelyn

Dear Linda
I think we all need it just about every day! The devil tries to stop us by making us feel discouraged, but I also have to remember what’s in “Lessons I learned from the Lord.” The only way he can win is if we don’t get back up!
Blessings,
Evelyn
