Lessons I Learned from the Lord is God’s assignment to me. I would like to tell you a little bit about how this book came about – because it is truly a miracle book and I want to give God all the glory.

I had never intended to be an author, however one day in church, a lady prophesied over me that I would be writing a book. I immediately went home to my prayer closet and asked the Lord about it. I asked if He wanted me to write a book, what would the name be. Instantly the title came to mind. I then told God that I wasn’t a writer. Of course He already knew that, but I sensed that was exactly the reason He chose me – I could not take any credit for it! I totally don’t! I told Him that it would have to be His book and He would have to give me the words to write.

It took me three years to complete the book. God would wake me up at night or give me the words in my prayer time. It was not given to me chapter by chapter or line by line, but when it came time to put it all together, it came together perfectly! Everything fit just like a puzzle! When God is in it, it is not our abilities, but His.

God wants to use each and every one of us. I pray that this testimony will encourage you in that if God has given you an assignment to do, or has placed a dream in your heart – if you just take the first step, He will help you with the next and the next. If God can use me, He can use you too!

Lessons I Learned from the Lord is a book about relationships, not religion. It’s a story of a walk with the Lord, but it’s everyone’s story. It is about God’s love for people and his wisdom in helping us handle what every Christian deals with in their daily lives. It has many nuggets of wisdom and analogies that make it easy to understand.

I pray that the lessons will bring the word of God and freedom to many of you, and that they will increase your faith to believe God’s promises. The reaction I get from people after they read it is that it was written with them in mind. They are using it as a reference book, not a one time read. Enjoy!
