Hello everyone,
True love – we all instinctively long for it. Love is part of us from birth, yet we sometimes have trouble understanding the truth about love, and the love relationship. What should be easy gets complicated when we relate to others with different personalities, backgrounds and life experiences.
And what about when we meet our “true love” – the one we plan on spending the rest of our life with? Love is blind as the saying goes, and when eyes are opened and we start to see, then what? True love first starts with the truth of God’s love for us, and the many facets of it.
Those of you who have read “Lessons I learned from the Lord” know that when I was very young, I experienced Jesus’ love and presence in a tangible way. I knew that He was with me as I could feel His love surrounding me. It is an experience that one never forgets. The Lord’s love is the basis of not only our relationship with Him, but our love relationship with our spouses, family and friends.
However, how do we have that relationship with the Lord? And how do we have the love relationship with our spouses, family and friends and keep that love growing when we are dealing with real, ordinary, imperfect people?
Years ago, in 2007, I wrote a book in which the Lord gave me His wisdom about these things. Just recently He put such an urgency on my heart to publish it – an urgency so strong that I did not have with the other books. I believe it is for such a time as this.
The book is titled, “A Lifetime of Love: The Love Relationship” and you can find out how to get it below. There are many books on love, but this one will get to the HEART of it! I pray that it will bless you greatly.
Blessings, Evelyn

What you shared is so very true. Only the love of our Savior is perfect. However, it can be a good gauge for us as we live in this world in relationship with other people. Thank you for first covering the perfect love Jesus has for us and in turn showing us what true Biblical human love should look like here and now.

Thank you Linda,
Love is Who Jesus is, and so He pours His love into us first so that we can pour out that love to others. As stated in “A Lifetime of Love”, love is all encompassing to the Lord. L=life and more abundantly O=no beginning and not end V=victory E=Everlasting to everlasting, eternal. The Lord loves us regardless of whether we think or feel that He does. Amazing love.

Evelyn. I hand it off to you. As people, we try to define and find explanations to detail a concrete meaning for the word so loosely used, love. Thank you for allowing Yeshua to work through you and making yourself such an accurate translator in relationship to such an intimate subject matter, love. You are truly someone who I believe has been chosen to make “love” and “intimacy” with Yeshua your focal points in your writings and illustrations. I believe this because you lived that love with Bill and through faith with “blind eyes,” you live it everyday with Yeshua. As a result, it’s so evident in you as a person. It’s not just something you simply write. It’s a REAL and tangible part of your life. Know this, the “blind love” you speak about, also refers to those, Yeshua has called home and it’s the hope of our salvation. That even though we cannot physically see that person we love so much who Yeshua has called home, through the same faith based blind love, we rest in the promise from the original author of love, Yeshua. With that said, remember, even though we can’t physically see with our eyes. That motivates us to find that love through prayer and supplication, knowing He supplies it. Furthermore, let this also serve as encouragement. You may not have realized it, but the “blind love” you referred to is also why you continue to use what you cannot see to continue carrying Bills legacy, knowing that even though you cannot see him. He is well and alive in Yeshua, and the love you experienced with Bill, continues to resonate in these very Jewel’s that Yeshua has laid on your heart to share in your books.

Thank you Joe for all your encouragement and insight. To God, Who is all love, be the glory! I appreciate you taking the time to write in response to this blog, and for your words of wisdom. Let your words also be an encouragement to all those who put their trust and faith in Him. Thanks again.
