Hello Everyone,
Years ago when I was a child, our family got a television set. Televisions were a brand new thing and people were excited! In those days, there were very few channels and all was in black and white. We had to use an antenna on top of the TV to get a clear picture and sound. I think sometimes we spent more time adjusting the antenna than actually watching the show! We would turn it and twist it this way and that until the picture and sound would be a clear as possible.
These days TV’s are “smart” and we never have to think about a fuzzy picture. It’s always tuned in without having to do anything.
I think of this and wonder if our own “spiritual antenna” is up? Are we fined tuned to hear what the Lord is saying to us? Sometimes I wonder if I am so busy that I miss the little things that He does daily.
The other day, I was anxious about something I had to do and asked the Lord to work it out. The next morning, in prayer I sensed in my spirit that He was going to work it out smoothly. The call came in by lunch time and it was taken care of in the way I had asked the Lord! If that wasn’t good enough, God’s timing was so perfect, that if the call was five minutes later, I would have already left my house and missed it! God is so good.
God’s timing was such that He gave me peace and I didn’t have to go through the whole day thinking about it. How often do we miss the additional little details of what the Lord does for us because our antenna is not tuned in?
When I realized this little detail of the timing, I sensed the Lord laughing with pleasure that I “got the whole picture” clearly. I felt as if I were sharing in His joy.
Maybe it’s the time and season, but I believe God is revealing more to us. The picture is becoming clearer and we notice more. As Daniel wrote, knowledge will increase in the end times. With our spiritual antenna up, we can be fine tuned to realize the full extent of all He does for us.
Some times all it takes is a little fine tuning and adjusting our antenna!

Yes I remember now that they were called “rabbit ears”! I forgot about that term, but it is a good example of keeping our ears open and alert!

Thanks Joe for responding. Yes, we need to keep out spiritual ears adjusted to hear the Lord at all times! Linda made a good point – antenna were called
rabbit ears – rabbits could turn their ears in all directions to hear clearly. We need to be alert at all times to hear what the Lord is saying to us.
