Hello everyone,
One day the Lord was talking to me about a ball. He was showing me that a ball is just a sphere with air inside. The more air, the higher it bounces, the more “life” it has.
Our body is the “ball” that encircles the spirit – both ours and the Lord’s, which is in us. However, the more of the Lord’s Spirit within us, the higher we go – the more “life” in us.
Depression, worry and sadness come when we are “deflated” in spirit. When the cares of the world weigh us down. It can be a battle that starts out physically with natural trials and struggles, but then goes on to affect the spirit.
Just as a deflated ball needs a fresh infilling of air, all you need is a fresh infilling of Holy Spirit to be good as new. Ask Holy Spirit to fill you afresh. Then do your part by thinking things that are pure, lovely, of good report as it says in the Bible in Philippians 4:8.
When the enemy tries to deflate you with his bad, worrisome thoughts, rebuke them in Jesus’ Name and think of something that makes you happy. When stresses mount and burn-out comes, think of a beautiful memory that refreshes your mind and spirit.
This is not easy, but it works! So read God’s encouraging words, bless someone else – and you’ll bounce back again!
Blessings, Evelyn

What perfect timing for these words of wisdom. It came on the first day of Spring which always reminds us of new life and new beginnings. Thank you for the reminder that without the Holy Spirit’s filling us we will live a deflated life. We desire to bounce with joy and serve God and others. It’s not always easy but with God we will have a Spring in our step. Blessed Spring!

I do so love the special word pictures or spiritual analogies which the Lord gives to you. In a way, they remind me of the parables He would tell
to explain His deeper Truths to us. Yes, the gravity of this world can truly bring us down when we allow it. How wonderful it is to be reminded
that, as His children we are not bound to it but have been set free by His Holy Spirit. Oh for the grace to live this gift every moment of our lives!
Thank you Ev 🙂
Love, Kath
