Hello Everyone!
As a child I would play “hide and seek” with my friends. We would run as fast as we could to get to home base, then we would cry out, home-free! I have a friend who gets, “God words” as she calls them – wonderful little devotions that are insights and wisdom right from His heart. One of them is about baseball. In baseball the goal of the players is to run to home base.
In this game of life, we are all running to win the race – to get to home base – heaven. As believers, we are going home – free. Free of sin’s corruption, redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb, Jesus. We were given this gift of eternal life, free. We can’t work for it, or buy it – no – it was given to us as a free gift.
Not only that, we will be given mansions – houses in heaven – free. Without a mortgage or payments. No possibility of foreclosure – no homeless people – home….. free.
Heaven is our real home. This earthly home is just temporary. It’s the game of life where everyone who believes and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior will get to be home-free. Even those who may be hiding right now, can find Him, and run to Him and be home-free.
Receive this wonderful gift of heaven, forgiveness of sin – just for the asking, just for believing, today – and be home-free.
For those who want to receive Jesus and His salvation of eternal life, or for those who would just like to re-dedicate their lives to Him, just pray this prayer – Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God and that You died on the cross for my sins. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. Come into my life, be my Lord and Savior, and I will follow You all the days of my life. Thank You for forgiving my sins, giving me eternal life, and thank You that now I am born again. Amen.

Free — what a wonderful word, a wonderful truth that the Lord has given us; free, truly free, never a catch. This simple truth that you expanded upon here is such a powerful witnessing tool, and so I posted it on my orphanage Facebook page for others to read and pass on to those who are not “Home-Free.” Thank you Lord that in You we are free, home-free, and that you offer us so many blessings which cost us nothing because You paid the price.

Regarding our free mansions, I’ve asked the Lord to make mine right next to yours. Please, Lord, please!

Thank you for posting this blog on your Facebook orphanage page. I pray that many more will do this so that people will know the freedom we have in Jesus! As far as our mansions, I couldn’t think of having a nicer neighbor!
