Hello Everyone,
The first place we look nowadays to find answers, is online. Years ago, we did not have that option. It;s so easy with just a few words in a search engine and there’s your answer – or not!
If you are like me, I have to keep re-wording my question in order to find what I’m looking for. There’s a lot online to “weed” through, and it’s not always found on the first page. Sometime you have to dig deeper to find what you are looking for – hopefully a perfect match.
However, here’s the conundrum. In the search for the answer, you find several questions you never even thought about! Now it starts getting complicated. What you thought was an easy question, generating a simple answer, now has generated more questions and you’re more confused than ever!
What about this – will it lead to a problem with that? Is this the way to go – or that way? It’s as if you are standing at a crossroad – a 4-way intersection with arrows pointing in all directions. Go this way – no, go that. Is anyone relating to this? Then after much time wasted, you are more confused than ever. You now have even more things to be concerned about than when you started looking for that one simple answer!
Lately I’ve had more than enough information as I searched for a computer to meet my needs. Reviews were even more confusing.
Wasn’t this supposed to be simple? I finally decided on a computer I thought was perfect for me. That opened up a whole “new can of worms”. Fortunately I had a friend to help me with dealing with outside vendors – we must read the fine print and have our antennae up to see something out of the ordinary. Out of stock, can’t order online. As soon as one thing is solved, another crops up you haven’t thought about. There’s the conundrum.
But God! He always shows the way without conundrums and makes the path clear. No rabbit trails, no confusion, and He will customize it just for you. We’ve gotten so accustomed to internet searches, that we sometimes forget that God has all the answers if we just go to Him and ask. You don’t have to find the right words for the search engine – He already knows what you are going to ask before the words come out of your mouth.
Next time you’re searching for answers, just pray and the conundrum will fall away.
Blessings, Evelyn
How true this is! Thank am an online girl so I can really relate. So much information is available these days it is challenging to sort it all out. How grateful to God we are that He always has the right answer for us without confusion.
Dear Linda,
Thank you for commenting. You can navigate really well on the internet and are much better at this than I am. Yet I know that you always ask the Lord for direction in every situation and circumstance and hear His voice. I am so glad that the Lord can always tell us which way to go and we don’t have to search our lives away online!
Blessings, Evelyn
Amen! Everything is made clear in His light.
Thank you Lynn for taking the time to comment. How wonderful it is to have the Lord, Who is all wisdom, speak to us and give us His!
Blessings, Evelyn
I can definitely relate to that. When searching the web it seems to go smoother when we ask His help beforehand. Your blog will help me to remember to do that.
Blessings and safety in His care.
Pat
So good to hear from you! Yes that’s a good lesson with everything – ask the Lord and pray about it before we do anything.
Thanks you for responding.
Blessings, Evelyn
Your new website looks beautiful, Ev. I enjoyed your blog post, too.
Blessings!
Maude
Thank you Maude! Credit for the website goes to Victor, who did a great job. I think we all have experienced the conundrum of finding answers online, but the Lord is the One who directs our paths.

Yes, the rabbit trails…sometimes it feels like your going through a maze when all you want to do is find
the exit let alone the answer! ….Total Anxiety
But God! … Perfect Peace.
Like you said…Pray First! Amen
Thanks so much Ev for depicting the contrast 🙂
Thank you Kathleen for your comments. I like the way you described it – rabbit trails. How wonderful to have the Lord to guide us through our everyday mazes!
Blessings, Evelyn
Thanks for reminding me of a scripture we love to quote, but with all our frantic searching online and everywhere else, seldom remember to make my own.
Eph 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,” Thank you for challenging me to ask Him first and remember this promise!
Dear Annette,
Thank you for your response. That’s one of my favorite scriptures too. It is very true however, that is the hardest thing – remembering the promise and also to ask Him first!
Blessings, Evelyn
Thank you friend, you nailed it. It is so evident that each time you hear any news these days it is constantly changing. This immediately reminds me that men are human and God is God. We only need to keep our eyes on what God says. That is all that counts. Ev, I love the new website and praise God we will be reading your new book soon I can’t wait! Also, Maude’s new book is a beauty. Thank you
Thank you Linda! You always are faithful to respond. Yes in the world He is the answer! I am glad you are looking forward to “A Lifetime of Love-The Love Relationship”! A pastor told me that this one is the best one yet! I can agree because it is the Lord that has done it and I am just His pen!
Blessings, Evelyn
